THE MODEL CONCEPT
The legendary squeaky yellow functional model of the HAPPY HUNTER should be known to almost every model ship fan!
The Happy Hunter is the detailed replica of a Dutch ocean-going and salvage tug in 1:50 scale. The model is driven directly, i.e. without gear reduction, via two high-torque electric motors from the MAX Power 700 series at low speed on two high-performance propellers. Fixed Kort nozzles serve to increase thrust, which means that even the most difficult towing and bow maneuvers can be carried out in conjunction with the optionally available bow thruster. The spacious plastic hull allows the installation of numerous special functions. Savvy model builders will equip the Happy Hunter with functional lighting, radar, windlass, sound and towing equipment. Even the fully functional expansion of the crane is possible.
